Music and Bad News

Well, it doesn't seem like the world is getting all that better, so we're just in hell for now. Yippee i guess.
College is so stressful and for what. And yet it doesn't even seem like that much, I know I probably have the most free time I'll ever have in my life right now and it's not enough to actually do anything I would like to do. What a nightmare. Anyway, this is not a boohoo blog, so I'll stop yapping abt sad things. Have ya'll heard of Doechii? Absolute fire, I can't believe I hadn't heard it until last month. Another artist I recommend is Cosmo Sheldrake, his music just makes my brain vibrate oh so sweetly.
My grandmother passed away about a month ago. I was able to go on my trip to Scotland right afterward, albiet a bit... well, not the best. I had a wonderful time while there still, thankfully. I brought back some bills and coins to give to my family. I was able to leave a 2 pound coin with her when they buried her ashes, I'm glad. They gave me back my quilt I made her, and the smell. It's her house, it's her. I don't know quite what to do. I don't want to wash it, but I don't want to use it either. It's just sitting on one of my desks until I can be smart and know what to do.
Sorry, morose again. I don't really think about these things, and I don't plan before I type so it all just spills out. I'll give a happy update on Scotland with some photos in the future.

New Year (...mid-January) Post

It's been a thousand years, but the blog has another post. A lot in life has happened, a lot of decisions have been made clear and a lot of hatred has unfurled in the world in the last few months. However, I am going to try to stay happy and not think about it. I've been getting back into 3D art and game design again, and even some digital 2D art.
I'm thinking my website might need a bit of a redo, or some kind of heavy construction work. I'm thinking of a dark academia look. Idk, my current one really just isn't how I want it anymore. Also, I want to make more things and showcase them, like my music and 3D artworks. Currently I don't have anywhere on my website to showcase them and my links on my homepage are already maxxed out. I'm also working on a resources page right now that can serve as a helpful guide or resource pit of sorts for other people to build their websites with. I've already started making and compiling backgrounds and sites.
I forgot to mention one other thing we got from the antique store before it closed down was a beautiful antique organ. It's been gutted and doesn't play, but it's so gorgeous (photo attached). Speaking of organs and pianos, me and my boyfriend have been getting more into making music lately. We worked on mall themes recently because we need them for a video game were currently working on (I'll give some sneak peaks of things I make for it here!).
I might go a hot second without updating again, my grandmother is still sick and not getting better soon. The blog might get a bit morose, sorry. I'll try to keep it as chipper as I can.

Raffel Results + Baldur Ramblings

Woops, long time no update. Finals a gearing up but I am holding steady- and, wonderful news! I got that chair I really wanted. Its got a curved back and pink cushions (I'll put a better photo in my scrapbook) and its just big enough for both me and my boyfriend to sit side by side and get a little thrown into eachothers laps while we play Baldurs Gate 3 together.
Speaking of, he has gotten me highly addicted to Baldurs Gate 3. Like, an absurd amount. I'm still trying to figure out who to romance but man oh man is Asterion eyeing me... specifically my neck. Anyway, we took a few day of our thanksgiving break to... actually have a break. (Who knew you could that?) And we played Baldurs Gate 3 and started watching dungeon Meshi together (also amazing). It's almost like life is returning to normal. Almost.

Welcome back, ya'll. I found out something super sad. The shop that I was selling my stuffed rats in is shutting down this December. I'm not super shocked, but I am sad. It's not the best spot for trinket or witchy shops here.
They do however have a raffle happening for a bunch of their stuff, including a beautiful old curved pink chase lounge. The entries were only a dollar, and I had an old gift card with some cash left in it, along with some loose bills. I bought a bunch of entries, and they call the winner tomorrow so I am praaaaying I win it (I will update with a photo if I do.) I think I have like an 82%ish chance of winning, there were so few entries.
I'll keep you updated! In the mean time, have a photo of some of my stuffed rats. -Isaac
First Real Post

Hi guys! I'm not used to blogging. I've never actually done it before ever. But I love the vibe of NeoCities and my boyfriend is becoming quickly obsessed with it, so I suppose I will too. A little background for me- I'm a published author (right now just poetry) and a published photographer for both art and journalistic photography. I also love making little crafts, such as stuffed animals (mice and rats especially), bracelets and charms and recently picked up making little trash-bashed robots!
I'm also an avid gamer and chronically stressed. Like, chronically chronic. A bit of this blogging and web design is to distract myself from the recent election, which for historians, happened less than a week ago. Yippee!
